www.weightwatchers.com

From November 2004 until mid 2006, I was a member of Weight Watchers online. I lost almost 100lb in that period.  I also remember going to weight watchers with my mother as a young adolescent, and made another unsuccessful attempt at the program during college.  I do regret that I had a "diet" mentality at such a young age!

www.hungrygirl.com

An email newsletter turned website/book/phenomenon fronted by the self proclaimed “Hungry Girl” Lisa Lillien. Lisa is not a dietician or food professional, but just a woman who wanted to discover new, delicious foods to help her lose and maintain 30lb. The site and newsletter include recipe renovations, head’s up on new low-cal-but- fabulous food products, and sometimes interviews with weight loss celebrities like contestants from NBC’s The Biggest Loser. I had the opportunity to meet the “Hungry Girl” at her book signing in Framingham, MA last spring!
